Joel was knowledgeable and thorough while repairing our refrigerator. He removed all of the ice that had formed through all areas of the freezer section front and back. I was quite impressed with him. He communicated well and was friendly.

Sears home services doesn’t even deserve to be called a company. It is fitting that they have licensed the brand name Sears since that company was run so poorly that it went out of business. Sears home services has zero customer support. They pretend that they have technology to make appointments, Follow up on appointments, etc. but when there is discrepancy or nobody shows up or a confirmation is needed, there is nobody at that company that will talk to you. But there is nothing that allows you to text back with a question or two Conf War of a War of an exact time versus 8 to 5, which is ridiculous that they even put that out there. Who has a full day to waste? These kind of cities are so poorly that they can’t schedule people and know within a three hour block when somebody could possibly be showing up. They have it set up intentionally not to take phone calls. I had an appointment scheduled, when I finally Got to somebody, which was an International third-party contracted call center, I was told appointment was that day and then five minutes Told that I didn’t have an appointment and that they would make one the next day. that that would not work for me. behold, she didn’t relay that message to anybody else and I was texting the next morning that my technician was on the way. It was probably the most frustrating 30 minutes I’ve had in a long time. I could single-handedly put Company out of business, I would choose to do so. again, they have intentionally set up their business to not have to talk to any customers. Don’t trust me? Look at the yelp reviews. The average is 1.1 out of 5 stars.

He was sent to the wrong address which was not his fault but then I got an email where he “signed my name” that said here is a copy of the agreement to the charges you signed with your your technician in your home today. How can I sign something when I never even meet the guy and he has never been to my home. He was trying charging Thor for my warranty for $136 for labor when he was never at my home to do labor on my stove.

Best I can tell, there IS NO sears appliance service. It's just a loOong robo-call to get your credit card, sell you additional warranty contracts and then maybe find a 3rd party technician to look into repairing your appliance. Save yourself the time & money and just call a local repairman directly.
